Log 1: An Adventurer's Start

 It’s amazing to me still today that I got attached to this series from this.....
(4kids Dubbed Footage);

........Yeah. I know.

One Piece Vol. 1 Cover

But I was intrigued, I mean anything looked cool to me when I'm 10, but it was when I found the manga at Barnes & Noble where I really got attached. I was too young to notice the cheesy dialogue of the dubbed over animation, but the comic really popped out to me, probably because I'm an artist myself, but I saw how much more edgy, it was with intense and violent action, beautifully illustrated to display the major moments. And you grow to complement the fact that these are all individually drawn and placed together that creatively shows the beautiful nature of this world.

Despite how it started for me, I never thought that this goofy series I found when I was 10 years old, when I was watching Saturday morning cartoons, would keep me hooked and committed for over 13 years of reading, would become such a influence and piece of inspiration for me to achieve and work for my own goals. It made me realize what to treasure most in the world, what's really matters and not to take life so seriously. My discovery of just how big this series is in the Japanese entertainment industry, and now the most sold manga comic series of all time, chronicling over 20 years of greatness and adventure. This is story of One Piece

And just a reminder, this’ll be a review of just the manga comic series and an overview of the impact the series has had on the world. This won't feature an review of the animation, or any of the films, I haven’t seen all of the animation or all the films so it wouldn’t be fair to review them as well.
